Tried making a new patient appointment, gave my plan's member number and was blown away by receptionist stating 'we don't accept HMO plans, without confirming with her Accounting dept. I called Humana and was told they should be aware of the fact that dental is a PPO plan and HMO is strictly tied to medical. Are they experiencing staff turnover or what? Or maybe this her way of rejection to a person of color. Either way I'm getting to the bottom of this.

Good: 1st visit. X-rays, exam, cleaning. All good. Very professional. Clean, well organized practice. Questionable: I was told I needed one filling and that my insurance would cover 50%, thus invoking a "co-pay." I checked with my insurance. A number of "filling" billing codes are covered 100%. I emailed the office, supplying the codes, asking for clarification on the coverage / billing. No response to my email. I then cancelled.

This is the most terrible dentist office that I've ever been. The lady was not capable of doing X-rays at all, and she tried at least taking 15 photos of X-rays on me but had not been successful. She then asked another lady to help, and that lady was also not capable of doing so. They asked a 3rd lady to help, finally this lady tried to take 2 photos and the 2nd one succeed. I'm very annoyed at they over exposed me to Xray and doubt their technical skills very much. They are poorly trained. Another thing is that, they confirmed twice to me that I don't need to pay additional fees, but after a month, they send me an email to bill me $17 without specifying what bill and service does this refer to. I have no idea and need to call them about this. Very annoyed by this dentist office. Don't be fooled by some other reviews calling this place professional.
